Job Hunting- Old School Style
Hi! So I send out 30 resume via email last week alone. Positions Medical Front Desk, Medical Assistant, Medical Call Center....in NJ. I then check the sites and it shows employers look at my resumes some looked at the same email twice others show position expired and still others still show position still available. Anyhow, to make a long story short I am thinking of calling these employers or mailing or faxing them a cover letter/resume I have been looking for employment for a long long time. I think this is the way to go for me. I will work anywhere while I land a promising job so that is all. I hope everyone is a little closer to a job offer.

OVER A YEAR PUTTING IN APPLICATIONS ON-LINE WITH NO RESULTS. I have started calling and going on site to put in applications in order to have any results. Still no job but having a little more results

Seattle WA is booming, look at University of WA website for positions at Uw medical center and Harborview Medical center, the are plenty of positions for Patient Service Specialist, exactly the position that will fit what you are looking for

I don't know if LabCorp is in NJ, but if so apply to them.

Yeah so take back even older school style and pray about it in jesus name Amen

Try social services. Com too!

Do the extra( what you stated)! 20 resumes per day on Careerbuilder. Com Monday through Friday! Joblistify. Com, ziprecruiter. Com, indeed. Com, care.com( you might find a job caring for the elderly), housekeeper. Com until you find what your heart desires! Resume-library. Com to have your resume reviewed for free I think. Pray!!!

Esther, I think you should try anything that's going to help you stand out from the pool of literally hundreds of applicants. Managers are busy and for many the recruiting and hiring tasks is overwhelming. Visibly putting yourself in from of the decision makers is the fastest way to get hired.
I feel ya on this. I have put in hundreds of resumes online had only a few bites, nothing ever came of them as far as a job. I have 3 degrees and cannot get the job I want!!! What does it take?
