Can you help me?
I have three felony convictions. Two are from 2008 and one from 2011. I also have virtually no work history and am nearly 50 years old. This combination of factors is making it extremely difficult for me to find employment. Does anyone happen to know of any companies in Arizona (Phx Metro area) who would be willing to hire someone like me? I am no longer on the same path that led me to ADOC. I have done an about face and just need someone to give me a chance to prove myself.

Hi Megan: Have you checked out this site? It has a list of job recommendations for ex-felons: http://jobsthathirefelons.org I suggest going through their jobs and looking to see what would interest you, then applying for those jobs through Jobcase.

Megan, Here's an A-Z list of companies and specific industries that hire felons. Search for staffing agencies in your area and call to make an appointment to complete and application, take a skills assessment, and interview. It's also a good idea to reach out to your local career resource center and ask about free career training programs. The CareerOneStop webpage is the best site to find a center near you.
