job questionnaires
I do a lot of things but have been looking into working in the restaurant world again.... all the corporate sites have an evaluation questionnaire, takes 15, 20 minutes to answer, all based on how you would react in specific situations... recently... talking with a manager at a place I applied for.. he said. He will look at my application on line and see if I got a 65% or above... otherwise he can't call me. Is there a specific matrix for answering the questions?

I can tell you that many years ago when I worked for Hollywood video as an assistant manager, the manager told me ( after I was hired) that most companies don't like anything but 1 or 5 on a scale of 1 to 5. Anything 2, 3 or 4 showed and ambiguity to the situation. I don't know if this helps... but when it comes to personality profiles.. this has been my experience.

Yes, the f'n customers are always right no matter what and you'll be fine and a lot of it is base on common sense. I remember working in restaurant, even when you aren't even aware of the situation but the customer tell on boss about you, still still come and cuss you out even when you knew nothing about the situation. It's all angry problem being pass from customer to your boss and then to you.

There is no Matrix as you put it into answering these questions ,the questions are designed to see how you would react in certain situations regarding your coworkers, how you perceive yourself working in teamwork conditions, and how far you are ready to advance if you are ready at all. The questions are independent studies hired by the employer's ,the employers are not asking the questions ,it is a separate independent test. Employers only get the percentage. 65 and over apparently the applicant is well balanced. Answer honestly , there is no correct answers. Don't answer to what you think they want to hear. If you noticed some of these questions are duplicates just worded differently. if you answered with two different answers something's wrong. They are thinking dishonesty, or hiding something. Again hiring managers do not know the answers to questions they just trust the institution on getting the percentage to them and correct. From experience some of these online job sites will let you go back and redo the test check into that. Good luck hope this helps. Keep your head up we will all get jobs this month.

Yeah, those things are a little crazy. I have no idea how to get around them.
Yeah you have to be a brain surgeon for low pay jobs and it's very pathetic how you don't know who IS really hiring or not before submitting a 1 hour long app to damn robots due to most companies "just filling quotes" by collecting applications for your info to go straight to the recycle bin.Its like getting your name pulled out of a lotto for employment .It will only get worse now that online is the only way .
