I loved working for Verizon at first. As time went on the way they treated employees diminished. They didn’t care about work life balance or work environment. The biggest issue was the lack of ethics and morals that was adopted. Managers had no accountability. They would create A hostile work place and without any real evidence make things up based on nothing but GPS reports. Employees are singled out and the union is weak and won’t fight for you if it’s going to cost money. My current job required a polygraph and wanted to know about my exit from Verizon. It proved that I was honest about what happened and it proved that the supervisor lied. It won’t matter because Management isn’t concerned about what’s right. Just about never being wrong. It’s now an environment where the shadier you are the higher you can advance. Nothing like the wonderful place it was when I started.
