Is working at Best Buy enjoyable?
I am looking at applying to the Geek Squad at Best Buy. Are there many requirements for that, and is it enjoyable?

I have worked at Best Buy for almost four years. It's great if you're a young boy and in the boys club. They treat anyone else like shit, especially women....but if you're a young, cute girl that they can flirt with, it's okay for them. It's ran like a frat house. So if that sounds like you and you have a penis, go for it.
For the geek squad I think you have to be able to diagnose and fix computer and other electronics . But it was fun working there I was a merchandiser . But if you like working in the tech industry it would be a good place to be .
Call around to see if they still exist. The job is as enjoyable as YOU make it!
Kyle, don't know where you live, but there is no longer a Geek Sguad at Best Buy anymore. Good luck though.
Are you skilled and credentialed in that area? Do you enjoy it? Let's say that I buy a Microsoft Surface Pro, 2017 model but the touchscreen isn't working properly. What would you recommend someone do to fix that? This is a real time scenario that happened to me. I did fix it, but my question goes to your skill level. I would love to hear your advice and be instructed by what you know. Sincerely.
Unless your a joiner I wouldn’t bother. It’s one big click. I also think geek squad has been disbanded.
