Target is raising its minimum starting pay for workers for the... http://abcnews.go.com/Business/wireStory/target-raises-starting-pay-2nd-time-year-53556426

what raise we are going backward in washington state guys 15.00 per hours were twenty years ago until the southern states thought they could reduce cost for profits the cost of living is higher and the' corporate' work your behind off with less pay and more work AND NO WORKER The average rent on the west coast is 400 square feet apartment is 1400 per month So hey you deserve the raise for those that earned it

I live in Longview Texas and I would love to work about 20 hours a week

I have put in application it has been 2 weeks but have not heard anything yet

Yes but they are cutting hours so they still don't make anything. I am a manager at a target in Ohio

Thanks what turnovers do they have would love to apply for sales asssociate position

Would like to work for you guys

that is awesome!!

You know at Target may have raised their right there starting pay but it worries me how many Target stores have closed so far and why the only reason everybody's getting the wrecked their pay raises because Trump signed a bill that's it not because they wanted to or they had they have to yes but they didn't want to so it might be a good thing but then again it might not be think about it

This is great news!
And to the folks that state that food service and retail are "non-skilled" and shouldn't earn this, well...I have been a retail manager for MORE than 20 years. And trust me when I tell you that any associate that works in retail is skilled in the art of cash handling and customer service. Ask yourself this....Could YOU deal with YOU when upset or dissatisfied? More than likely not. These are hard working people that get insulted, belittled and disrespected on many occasions. Food service...another one...waiters/waitresses run their asses off! They work HARD. Not everyone wants to go to college for the "degree". I have hired DEGREED adults to work in retail because they can't find jobs. We should bring back the "shop" classes in our schools and get back to teaching our youth that working with your hands is just as admirable. Honest work for honest pay.
I want in.
