Recruiter contacted me today 12/18/2017
Good news, I'll be able to use my Certification for Peer Support Specialist that took me a year to accomplish. I have to wait for my background check to go through but I have been through them in previous jobs with no problems. The recruiter is faxing them tomorrow. I can't wait to start my new challenging job and help people with their recoveries. I have been out of work since 07/31/2017 and seeking work daily on line, job coach referrals, career connections working solutions, and Acess-VR help. I took a basic computer class while unemployed to get more experience in computers. I also finished my certification on line while unemployed. I have physical disabilities and I am MATURE so don't let that stop you. Keep plugging along until you get your dream job.
For just in case, also look into or just retain the info, parent partners. Google it especially if you dont receive enough hrs. Congrats!
No longer looking for a job. According to recruiter who offered my dream job to me. I only have to sign and return papers to recruiter who is going to do a background check on me. I held 2 positions in a state office after background checks with no problem. After that is done he stated we only have to agree on start date which I hope is soon.
