It Depends on what you are interested in doing and on what skills you have and or may need or want to have for the job you are interested in and if you do find a line of work that looks interesting you may want to try it on a basis of seeing if it would be a good match for you before you leave your present job and commit to one that would not work and as for going back to school it might help if you had a way to both get aid in paying for it as well as work in a program that does the same kind of things in my suggestions

It never hurts to take a couple courses in business management and/or Hospitality....That shows you are working towards a degree...employers like that...your fresh, new,,ambitious...it is a fine line......"the ball is your court ".so to speak........you have experience....but sometimes....it's... what you look like on paper......either way you'll always have work...

You really don't. I worked in corporate management for 6 years before I realized I hated it. 2 years ago, I decided I needed a career change...so I quit! I always had a passion for music and entertainment so I got a job working with a talent agency in their warehouse. They would book bands and DJs and I would put together all the gear and load it into the back of a truck. I quickly learned about all the gear and that lead to a job mixing live music at a local venue while I continued working for the talent agency. The pay wasn't great but I was meeting everyone I needed to meet and really busting my chops working in a new industry. The pay got better when the talent agency realized I knew how to mix and started booking me as an audio engineer on their shows. By networking and building my reputation as a reliable and hard worker, I got more job offers and started working in post production studios for film and television. That got me close to data centers and servers where I learned IT, Data Networks and Low Voltage Electrical. I recently was hired by Disney in their IT department as a result of all that knowledge that I learned on the job. It's been quite the winding river and who knows what's next!

My success started when I stopped worrying about what my next move was and simply made moves in whatever direction the Universe offered me. We are surrounded by opportunity. Never say no to something because it doesn't pay enough. Always say yes to something you can learn from and get payed to do. If you aren't learning anymore, if you want more money, if you're simply unhappy, move on to the next job until you find that knowledge, money or your happy place.

I have been a fan of the community colleges for a long time. These are far more affordable than major colleges and universities. And in most cases, you can still work while going to school. I consider Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan, to be responsible for helping me get into Michigan State, the University of Michigan-Flint, and Marshall. An associates degree is good. And if you don't want to stop there and go to a university, your first two years of college will have been much more affordable than if you decided to go to a university from the word go. The community colleges do yeoman's work in helping people get prepared. Just throwing the idea out there for you.

That would depend on what you are looking forward to do. Not all fields require education past high school diploma. I would suggest finding something for now. Or similar to the field you want to be in. If it requires more education. I would say do so. Learning is an adventure that should never end. The more you know the better. I am always trying to learn new things.

Go back to school for an accounting degree. An office assistant is a good background .

Depends on what you want to do. Not all careers require schooling. Some let you learn on the job.
