Don't give up just yet!!!
The unemployment process IS a MESS right now, but if you were approved don't give up.
Call your state representatives and get someone on the phone. NOW is not the time to quit!
I have read MANY conversations here on Jobcase where members were finally able to receive their benefits after simply calling and speaking to someone.
Its wonderful to hear someone finally getting a resolution. But I think my story wont end so happy. Im homeless. I filed for my benefits a couple months ago. They keep telling me they need more verification. Ive given them everything I have. I dont know what else to do. I have nowhere to live and no way to get out of this hole. Is there any other way to get ahold of these people?
Well said Leslie! @Miguel Villa finally received all of my UI benefit payments as he shared with us on his post UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS. GLORY BE TO GOD!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!!
His words of advice to members currently struggling through the unemployment claims process is:
- Believe in each-one-teach-one.
- Contact your State Representative for your district.
We've noticed a lot of other members who've reported positive results after reaching out to their state reps. A simple phone call is all it takes. Might be worth trying out.

I filed my claim the end of June. Got a letter telling me how much I am to receive and even got a debit card to boot. I file every week as directed and have.yet to receive any type of payment. Then i called the numbers they have listed and got no answer for weeks and when i finally got thru they only tell me to be patient while all my bills are stacking up and on the verge of being homeless
