Would you rather have a gas or electric car?
It looks like while most of the cars on the road in that are being sold are gas engine, car manufacturers are swapping powertrain workers for battery experts and software engineers, as we look toward cleaner technology. #aboutmyjob #cleantech #manufacturing

and yes the hydraulic pump is driven by a electric motor along with the AC.

most if not all of the new (2020-to date)autos being sold today are already set up for electric drive (electric power steering ,brakes and air conditioning. )all of this is computer controlled so a engine, transmission ,fuel tank removal leaves room for electric drive motor ,battery paks ect so its a quick swap for new cars.
