Maddox, it sounds to me it’s a blessing you was laid off you wouldn’t want to get tangled in a mess. My grandma told me all my life where one door closes another Shall open.. God will only put us threw what we can handle and something bigger and better will come your way.. I’ll say a prayer for you today, this I highly believe in and gives me the strength to keep moving. Good luck G Maddox, Keep your head held high your time to shine will come!!

Hi Maddox, I agree with the rest of the group, it's a blessing, you never know what is going to happen. Give it time and when time runs out you will be glad they let you go.

I'm sorry this happened to you. This sounds to me like you have an "At Will" employer. Meaning, they can choose to let you go at anytime and you can choose to walk away from them at anytime, without consequences on either part. I'm curious though, did they give any explanation as to why they let you go?

Also, I don't understand how people who have killed others still working for that company. Or, in healthcare at all. I thought there were some laws in the world that prevented those types of scenarios.

Then, again, I've seen that occur plenty of times on Greys Anatomy, whereas they killed patience but were still employed. Or, right after they were fired for killing a patient, they were still able to return. That is, if they liked you.

That sounds like a lawsuit in the making. Maybe it was a blessing. You don't want to be liable for poor management and incompetent workers. Nothing is stopping them from doing something terrible and blaming you. Very bad situation. Look for a better job with a company with a great reputation. Check reviews on Google. Good luck.
