Good News for Jobs or More Smoke and Mirrors?
Does anyone know how to interpret these unemployment reports? I’m just asking cause I’m still trying to find a career job opportunity with a moderate salary and benefits. This is an encouraging news article but the lack of employer responses to my applications and resume is telling me another story. Are there really more jobs or did more people just stop looking? http://money.cnn.com/2016/12/02/news/economy/november-jobs-report/

Could be less people actually looking for jobs this time of year. Lets see what the report looks like in April when the college grads hits the workforce.

I don't usually dive in too deep on this news but I like to check on the growing industries. Service jobs have been at the top of the list which is where I work now. The pay isn't ideal for a newcomers but opportunities to grow are there if you manage to stick around.

Have you had someone proof your resume? If not, have someone do that. I see hundreds of resumes a week. Most recruiting professionals only spend seconds reading a resume. You want to make sure yours is telling your story and your accomplishments as a programmer.
Good News! These reports promote more confidence in the economy and that typically leads to that more spending and ultimately more new jobs.
