Quad graphics has a very different buisness model than most places. The way management is broken down is very elaborate. I actually had an interesting first encounter with the vice president of my department at the time. I was running a machine and a crew that day (very efficiently) when suddenly some guy I've never seen before shut my machine down. So I immidiatly rushed over the stairs and very directly asked why this man shut me down. Little did I know he was the vice president. But he simply introduced himself and told me that he loved my response to his shutting me down. He's been back to my plant a dozen times since then and always asks about me.
