College Student

I'm currently a college student going into my last semester this fall at Hinds Community College and I major in Computer Servicing Technology. Therefore, I was wondering if there are any internships , jobs or technical training I could get into to sharpen my skills from what I've learned throughout the course of my semesters and years of school. I've been taught hands on in my classes on how to work on desktops and laptops in my Basic Computer Systems class, and Lab 1&2 classes. I been also taught in Diagnostic & Troubleshooting class dealing with PC's. I'm 25 years old and currently looking for work or anything I can learn in the field of technology. Outside of technology I'm looking for warehouse jobs anything that keeps me moving and active I'm open to all opportunities though.

Jeremiah,

I would suggest that you look into getting your CompTia A+ certification as another method of showing employers that you have the skills you have.

If there are local computer repair shops in your area see if they would be willing to take you on as an intern ask them to give you 30 days to see how you work and if you can prove yourself then hire you.
