My Supervisor was threatening and berating me in public

I recently was let go from my job after going to HR because my new sup was yelling at me in front of people calling me names and threatening to have me fired. I went to my manager and even HR after she left a write up in the open on my desk for others to see. No one did anything and after she fired me for no real reason, the mistake wasnt even mine it was the person covering my desk, she leave a threatening voicemail threatening to hold up my unemployment if I didnt answer her nasty text messges. Do I have cause to sue the company for hostile workplace?

It would not hurt to do a consultation with an employment attorney. It may not be a slam dunk, but it's worth looking into.

I am so sorry this is happening Elainia C but if I were you I would absolutely contact legal representation and save that voicemail. Also, contact your local department of labor!
