Prior deciding to join a boot camp, I had no coding experience. I mainly worked in the service industry and it gets really hard to manage if you don’t have any plans on settling in this world. So I started exploring Bootcamps online and checked quite a few options before deciding to go with SynergisticIT. What I found in my research was that it is hard to judge a camp given that many have the same number of good and bad reviews; moreover, the career placement programs are also not very clear. So my decision to join SynergisticIT was based on the following:

1.My friend had successfully completed their full stack program and was hired by one of the fortune 500 companies with around $105K annual salary (this was my personal confirmation that this camp was good)

2.They focus on teaching you two intense stacks on which majority of coding world relies: Java and full stack. It is because their goal is to teach you 80% of what you need to begin your IT career in any junior software developer position. Many other boot camps that I researched were teaching 12-15 programs that really make you question the overall quality of their courses.

3.Their teaching style is friendly to those with no prior coding experience

4.Their job placement program is really comprehensive since they have good industry clients and they market you efficiently based on your skill set. Most of the reviews about them are positive as THEY GET PEOPLE HIRED.

5.Large companies have hired SynergisticIT graduates and they are impressed so their network is committed and the hiring patterns are growing. (this I got to know during the program)

My experience with them was mostly great the teachers were inspiring and committed. The program is intense so you need to be prepared for that. This is a 5-6 months program so be ready to devote time every day in order to learn the necessary skills to be a successful coder. Going into coding without any previous experience, I didn’t really know what to expect. It was incredibly difficult in the beginning I won’t lie but I made it through it. I am proud but a bit surprised at my progress too.

In the end I would say SynergisticIT is worth the cost coz you get what you give so give it your all. While this program requires a lot of self teaching and discovery, the teachers pay attention to your progress and checks in regularly. Your success is their success. This program has one goal, to get you hired. So it combines the best of both worlds: best teaching + amazing job support.

So if you can manage learning online with some awesome teachers, this can prove to be a great choice. I can personally state that this program works.
