I agree I made it through the interview process by being my self and making a connection with the interviewer. Which is exactly what you have to do with the customers once your hired. Atnt is a great company with amazing opportunities. I can't wait to start working there.

I have, but I don’t remember the question. So you want to handle it like you would a call. So you gonna sound upbeat and happy to hear from the customer. This is your greeting. And then they are going to check for active listening. So check for understanding by repeating the question back to the customer. “ to make sure I understand, you’re calling in to upgrade to a new phone. Is that correct?“Second step check for understanding. Next, empathize with the customer. “Awesome! I can definitely help you with that. What number would you like to upgrade and we will look at your options together.” Third step assurance of help starting off with an empathy statement. Also note that you’re also controlling the call and directing the customer on what information to give you. So understand open and close ended questions and this will help you get through any situation they put in front of you. Now, if you’re recommending something, try and taylor the benefits of the product to the needs the customer has expressed to you about what they want. Like if they say they want a big screen and an iPhone then you could recommend like the 7+ over the iPhone 7 for example, Because the 7+ has a bigger screen and has an iPhone. After you empathize then you want to probe the customer. This just means asking questions to get the information you need so you can recommend services or products related to the reason for their call. Finally, when closing the call ask if they have any questions about the reason for their call, and if not, thank them and end the call. This is an example of a close ended question you’re just asking for a yes or no on what you’ve already talked about. The wrong way is to leave it as an open ended questions such as, “ is there anything else I can help you with today?” This allows the customer to think of anything else they might have thought they needed to ask you, and can run up your call time which is bad for productivity. So, always stick to the issue. They usually ask you, as well, to think of a situation where you had to fix something that was done wrong or an upset customer and how you calmed them down and fixed their problem. So, think of a situation before you do the interview. I know that’s a lot but there’s a ton of info about taking calls on YouTube.

Hi Dennis! I have not going through that particular interview, I have however done a mock interview where I was put into a room and called on the phone to see how I would answer the questions. Role-playing is an interesting way for the employer to feel you out. It's also a great way to see if you would enjoy the job. I think the best way to answer it is to be honest, pleasant, and upbeat! Any type of phone job they are looking for a person who will represent their brand in the most positive way possible. Do a little research about the company first so you aren't going in blind in case they ask. Just be yourself you can do it!!! : )
