Happy to report that with the help of my mother, I was able to get an internship with her work’s tech person for this upcoming summer. May not be a full time position yet but at least now I can get some more IT experience. This is a tip for those that are still trying to look for employment. Make sure you tell your family and friends as they may know people in your targeted field. Part of the job process is not just applying to places online but also to discover the hidden job market and networking. Networking and making connections can be tough for those especially just starting out.
