What do you want to be when you grow up?

How MANY of us were asked this when we were younger? It was almost like telling us to pick ONE life, one job, one path, but there is nothing wrong with having many things that you love to do or want to do.

Check out [this inspirational tid bit] (https://www.ted.com/playlists/225/talks_to_get_you_through_your) if you are feeling lost, it will help.

Remember, life is about what we make of it and this includes our careers. We can do anything we set our minds to so don’t give up!

I think when you're young, everything seems cute no matter what you say you want to me, but then you get older and you actually have to start making real decisions it's pretty terrifying. I always wanted to be a seal or dolphin trainer at a large aquarium...that plan did not work out! I guess it's never too late tho.

Logistics Management Training Potential

OMG! that question still freaks me out and I'm nowhere near a spring chicken anymore. I always stuck to the reputable and safe careers like Doctor or Lawyer because I felt obligated to give a clever answer but honestly had absolutely NO IDEA!

Having that type of direction early in life is great but a general openness to flexibility t mixed with an ability to pivot around life challenges is a good strategy to stay sane.

Young people today have a better sense of direction partly because they have access to more information but I think those lucky enough to receive solid mentoring experience more success reaching their goals.

Interesting question, I wonder what a typical high schoolers response would be today?
