How can I get one?

I graduated from college with a Bachelor’s degree earlier this year and consider myself to be a well rounded, knowledgeable, and hardworking job applicant who’s willing to start off at a humble (low) salary for MEANINGFUL work…. So why can’t I find a job?? How can I get experience if no one is willing to give me an opportunity to learn? I’ve sent out numerous applications with cover letters detailing my educational experience and academic achievements but obviously that’s not enough. Where are all these jobs I read the economy is creating and what do I need to do to get one?

I went through the same thing when I graduated. If you can in the meantime apply to as many Temp agencies to get some experience and to get your foot in the door at places. Those temp agencies are located all over in the US and Internationally so you can have your file and work history transferred should you decide to relocate anywhere you wanna go. Try colleges, hospitals and school systems for job opportunities too. Good luck!

Keep at it because it’s not easy. I’ve was out of work after college for 6 months before landing an entry level job with horrible everything. 2 years and 3 jobs later I finally think I’m in a good place where I can focus on hard work, learning, and growing. Be patient but persistent.

Don’t look for an ideal opportunity just try to find an opportunity. Getting your foot in the door is the first step. Sounds like you're willing to compromise so go for it.
