Is your FedEx background check taking too long?
I've seen allot of convos going on about this so i wanted to share my story. Called my interviewer at FedEx about why it was taking six weeks for my background check to go through. She said it’s because i lived in different states so it automatically takes longer. Good to know. It’s not always a bad thing if it’s taking a long time. Make sure you get your interviewer’s phone # so you can ask why yours is taking so long.

Seems as if they are either too overwhelmed with applications for Fed Ex positions and just may not be looking at all of them just as most employers may not be looking at all the Resumes that are being posted Online as well depending on how that resume is generated and how long it is, that may cause them to skip over your entire profile review all together and then you start asking yourself, why is it taking so long for that promised phone call that I was supposed to get. Happened to me when I applied for UPS and they stated that it wasn't my background check that was an issue, it was my Resume, I've had way too much work history on there even if it pertained to the exact position that I was applying for, it was too much for them to read. Not to say that this may be your issue, but I've learned it's an issue effecting a lot of individuals seeking employment.

With today's technology and advances in checking a potential employee background, seems this is rather long. I would "bug" the heck out of FedEx till I got an answer.
Are you kidding, with today's thec anything more then an hour is to long, is simple Google yourself
i think i'll e-mail them and ask why it's taking so long, seems a backround check shouldn.t be such a big deal to achieve.
