Just got laid off at 64 years old
Trying to figure what to do now .Did'nt plan on having to job search at my age.

Yes I understand; but "life" happens. Fortunately for me I have a VERY close relationship wit my Lord and savior JESUS Christ. Being at 60 wit out a job for 4 plus years, because I had to retire and take care of my husband that had; had a massive stroke and couldn't walk, but now 4-yrs later is better. But trying to get back in the work force was a challenge. Had it not been for GOD and me standing on his word, believing his word and praying (even throught the tears) no matter what it looked like and through disappointments as well as people of GOD giving their encourageing word and testimonies I would have fainted. But keep looking and stay positive and don't give Up! I say as long as you are able to work DO IT!!! Because even after a few year being retired it's old too. And the longer you wait to get back out there the more time passes and technology increases. May GOD Bless You!

Ok so you got laid off after 11yrs and two low lifes.Your 64 yrs old and now you wonder what will you do now?Do you really need to work?your just under a year for SS.Maybe you can just sit back and relax and enjoy the rest of your life, with your love ones.But what ever you decided I hope for the best.
