I recently went to the dentist and for the first time had work completed by a male dental assistant. I told him he was the first male assistant that I've seen. He said males in that field is rare but they do exist. Don't give up... keep trying and someone or the right office will give you an opportunity.

Hi Jake: Thanks for posting to Jobcase! Have you tried following up on all the applications you're sending out by calling or emailing? Also, see if the school you graduated from has special relationships with various employers. It could be worth looking into, since they might hire you even if you don't have experience.
