I am currently looking for hands-on pharmacy technician position in Indianapolis, Indiana. I worked as a pharmacy technician in 2 years in college, including 1 year of IV Admixture and 2 recent years of experience. I've found that most of the skills I used years ago as a technician are still applicable today. I had to change careers 4 years ago and I chose to become a pharmacy technician because I know I love the work. I am especially passionate about sterile compounding. I've worked in a hospital pharmacy for a total 2 1/2 years (both in college and currently) and I have worked in the hospital environment for a total of 20 years. I'm having problems finding a job. I don't want to work in retail. I have so much knowledge and so many skills, I know I could be an asset to any hospital or pharmacy who would give me a chance. I am open to any suggests including advice about networking and using LinkedIn.
