In reply to hasn't really seen the high school graduation year on applications.
Since my employer died on 7/02/2017 I have applied to over 58 jobs, some in person, most on line. Of those 58, 43 applications asked for the graduation year. These are care giving companies, accounting firms, city school boards and administration positions. So I definitely have to disagree that this question is not being asked.

Oh, you are right, it is being asked on all applications. And I'm 60 and have filled out a ton of apps. And not 1 call yet. Oh, excuse me, I was called, by a staffing agency and told that I had fantastic longevity, 21 yrs. But since I did so many different things she was gonna have difficulty placing me. How's that for upping you ego to find a job.
