Its not a crime to be too outgoing! Just make sure you get your work done before socializing, don't distract others from their work, and always be polite.

Some people in the office may be too reserved and prefer things quiet and non intrusive so be sure to give those individuals their space. Most people look forward to a little human interaction throughout the day but are hesitant to initiate conversation.
