Hi Dorothy, It depends on two things. One is the requirement in the job-posting. Usually a certificate in child development diploma course with early childhood care input is the right qualification. Secondly, it depends on the location where you are applying. For example in India there are courses like BalSevika training, Anganwadi training, Diploma in Child Development (Child Development Centre) etc. in various cities of State capitals. For the position of a ICDS Project Officer,/ supervisor they prefer a basic post graduation on Nutrition, Psychology, Sociology or MSW.,
