Mr. Chapman:

I've seen the movie (played a leading role), here in Michigan theirs assistance/programs for felons. After seven years I got my felony expunged . I learned from my past bad choices, concentrated on the trades I possesse, and stayed focused on the company's that will hire felons (give me a chance). Unfortunately you're going to find your self starting at ground minus zero for a minute, so patience and determination is key, and know " GOD will make a way out of no way "

Good Luck!!!!!

Paul, That's so messed up. I have friends and family members who are dealing with the same nonsense whenever they go out looking for work. One of my cousins got so fed up that she decided to go into business for herself and it took her a long time but she's on her feet now and her own boss. I recommend applying to companies that are felony friendly and offer second chances. The list is short but they are out there. You sound like a young person so maybe it's a good idea to start the process of getting your record expunged or sealed so this won't continue to haunt you later on.
