Age and expirence
Most of the jobs I have applied for probably won't hire me because I'm 16 and i dont have expirence. But I have to be able to get a job before I can get expirence. & where I live I couldnt get a job until a few months ago.

What sort of jobs are you applying at? Grocery stores, movie theaters, and fast food places are you going to be your best bet as a 16 year old.

Add
Use school for volunteer work, religious organizations and associations to build a resume off of these things so employers may better see your attributes, capabilities, and talents. Check with your guidance counselor at school, about work permit and job opportunities they may have information or resources on.
