Be investigative
I believe that the employer's of this world need the worker more then the worker needs the employer. In fact, no workers, no company. When looking for a job or a career, investigate the company. Learn all you can, do your homework. If you decide you like the company, apply. Be yourself. Ask questions during the interview. Be the interviewer, not the interviewee. I think you'll find things are quite different and will go more your way, in doing so.
Good luck to us all. Remember, unemployment is not a desperate trap, it's an opportunity to get the job or career you want, a chance to reinvent the self and the doors to open are everywhere. Every "no" brings you closer to the "yes" your looking for. And every no just means, it's not the right fit for you. Keep your head up, be strong and remember, be the interviewer, investigate the company you want to apply to, do your homework, then ask questions and be engaged! 😊

Absolutely true!

Hello dear I am a citizen of Bangladesh I need a job offer sponsorship required as soon as immediately if can possible please do you provide me a job work permit,

Do not begin a sentence with the word and.

Yes good idea if ur applying for a career but if you're just applying for a job at McDonald's good luck with that. Sure it's nice to know who you're going to work for and what they need from you as an employee but to sit there in a say that the employee is needed more than the employer what are you a Biden lover?? Sounds like you're one of those people that took the $900 a week in unemployment all you did was help f****** the job market so you go ahead and see if you're going to an employee the employer let us all know how that works out for you.

Employers plural, employer's possessive. Grammar counts!

I believe in this advice wholeheartedly! When an employer sees that you have done your homework and are asking questions right off the bat, that has to speak to them! Plus, I don't know about everyone but when I can be the one asking the questions and essentially taking on the meeting, confidence shows! I think that shows volumes where leadership is concerned!

Yes! This is good advice to share and is very true. The employer is expecting your questions and would be a bit disappointed if you do not ask any.

I agree, very good message for all of us.

Nice
Kathryn Brookins: You are so right. We, as job seekers, need to see ourselves in a different light. WE interview them, too. The interview goes both ways, although most companies feel they hold all the cards. WE have options and choices. WE absolutely should prepare several questions and talking points. WE, after all, are trying to make the decision if this organization is one WE would be happy in. JOB SEEKERS - we matter!
