I applied to work at Costco a couple months ago and did not receive a call back, and instead took a job at Advance Auto Parts Distribution Center in Enfield, CT. However, even though I work 2nd shift, 5pm - 1:30am, mon-fri, we are required to work mandatory overtime mon-fri until 3:30am. This is not a problem as it reflects well on a paycheck, however they have been forcing mandatory overtime on Sundays from 7am-1pm. Being a 2nd shift employee, none of us are happy with this and it has caused more than one incident with employee exhaustion and I do not want a part in that. If Costco is offering a position, I would definitely be interested in working.
