Irritating

I’ve been working my current job since September 2017 getting 36 hrs a week and have 3 kids with wife being disabled but not getting disability benefits. My job started shorting 20.00 a week on paychecks and I sent them emails every week about being short so last month decided to cut my hrs to 14 hrs a week cause I complain about my checks being short .. What to do?

If u feel u have been unfairly treated, u can definitely go to the labor board or better business bureau, that is pretty drastic, after that length of time in a job, finding another should be simple

Brother don't let them disturb you find another job to make up the hours. I know it's going to be hard. . How I know because in out of work and about to loose everything including my family.. You can try Uber. And Lyft.

Switch jobs they always find a way to screw you because they have money and that all might POWER CONTROLLING. Just find something eles sorry thats happening to you.

Man looks a lot to me my friend you might have to get a different job but don't quit that one until you do that way you can keep the money coming in but I started looking if I were you

There are alot of company's doing 32 or 36 hour weeks. This means no overtime,also they could be taking your disability into consideration. Now not being paid that's the hour and wage department you should call them. I know I'm disabled and disability did not approve my case but then again they are just laymen with very little knowledge of the medical field. Just keep trying or get a lawyer.

Report the company to the EEOC immediately. You are safeguarded with legal regulations. Besides that, they cut your hours to almost nothing anyway. If you win with the EEOC, you have a Civil Suit, The company, most likely, will settle out of court. However, that is a long ride and you should be looking for another job AND have your wife call the disability department every day. Make a best friend. My 2 cents. If the same company has done this to others that you know, then that's a bigger home run, but they will have t do notarized statements.

Gather all your facts and call the number for an appt. Then in the meantime if your wife is able, she needs to find a disability lawyer or a doctor that deals with disability clients. Gabriella's suggestion is a wise one, just have your facts and dates in order when you file a complaint. Good luck.
