Seeking a second chance

First, I wish all who read this a very Merry Christmas. I'm gonna just throw it all out there, because I have finally learned the importance of honesty. I'm a former drug addict, in which I have now been cleaned almost 3 years. I made a lot of poor choices and much regrets, but I have learned from my mistake which has cost me more than I wanted to pay, kept me me longer than I wanted to stay and took me further than I wanted to go. I am very thankful that I am still alive and that I still have an opportunity to turn things around. Very blessed to say the least. For any of you struggling with drugs or alcohol, my heart and prayers are with you. I get it, but if I can stop and fall forward, I know you can to. Because of my poor choices many do not want to hire me, and I can completely understand. I just want to capitalize on my losses and finish well. I share this for 2 reasons, one to give others hope and two, to seek for someone that is willing to give me a second chance to become successful, not only for me but for you as well. I am a believer, I thank God every morning for another day. There are a lot of hurting people out there, that are way worse off than most and I have learned to enjoy the simple pleasures of life that I once took advantage of. What God can do for one, He will do for two and what He did for me, He will and can do for you. I am a people person, I have done sales in the past and was very successful at one point and looking forward to getting back on that path once again. So if you or someone that you know is looking for a highly motivated and grateful person to hire, I'm ready. Thank you!

I thank all of you for your support and encouragements!! This is what its all about, helping each other push forward not backwards. I just had a great friend pass away the other day and I pondered on it for a while. What I have learned is that you never know when it will be your last day, this is why it is so important to make each day count. Tell your love ones every day that you love them, always give a kind word to somebody because you never know what they may be going through. I'm gonna leave a little quote that has really made me understand relationships a little better, it goes "Friendship is like money, they are easier made than kept". Again thank you and Happy New Year!!

I love your positive attitude. I'm not recovering from drugs or alcohol but from infidelity from a 28 year marriage of control and verbal abuse. God has delivered me from that pit. My daughters and I are healing now after 5 years of wondering around lost and struggling. We had less at Christmas this year but we had more than we've ever had. Peace, love, compassion with 3 new grand babies that light up my world. God has truly blessed us with less worldly things and more unconditional love. God bless you and keep pressing on.
