Being left in the cold part 1
I have been applying to work for Nordstrom for 9 years and I have been interviewed via phone numerous times along with live in-store interviews as well. Everytime I feel that I got the job with them something on the side of the human resource managers end up that they want to go in a different direction. I'm over 50 and feel that they're discriminating me based on my age and experience level. I'm getting tired of the game Nordstrom is playing when it comes to giving me an chance to work for them.

9 years pursuing a job with the same company!! I would hire you on the spot just for showing so much perseverance. “Going in another direction” can mean anything but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re a little ageism going on in HR. Isn’t there another high end retail store you could look into? I’m sure they would be very interested in hiring a seasoned sales and service professional like yourself. Go work for the competition and make a big noise with quality work then Nordstrom will have to come to you.
