Of all places I work for the government the United States post office of New Jersey it's the worst government company you can ever work for it has a very good benefits but you're pushed to beat that time clock and be back to the office by 6 even though you have double the work every single day and my office has a very high intensity of mail, flyers, packages! Which the packages don't all fit in your truck there's so many in this area so my route was over by an hour I asked everyday to be walked but still they harassed me to get done in 8 hours I was even told by the postmaster Donna that if she walks with me my route would be done in 7 hours Im about 40 to 50 pounds lighter than her I told her I don't think you'd make it and don't get sick either because I had medical issues many doctors documentation stating that I would need extra time on my route never made any accommodations for me but show despair treatment and gave other employees their routes cut and accommodated them she just never liked me from the beginning I was fine at the post office until she came so for a whole year of my life everyday I was harassed and treating garbage yelled at told I was too slow in reference to my age all the stuff almost 4 years of my life struggling to do the best i could at 48 years old! I went to the eeo which is equal employment opportunity you have to call the number in your area someone will call you get your side of story and you need to write everything down and detail dates times everything and then the investigator will call the company and get their side of it and then they come up with a resolution my resolution is I'm going to court I'm just awaiting a court date so they can hear my story in person on the record. I don't care I just want job in the post office even if it's just to be a clerk I want my benefits back for me and my family and if I don't get my job back at least everybody will be on record what they did to me. No job security any more those days are gone!
