Almost homeless
I've been unemployed for over a year now, took time off to take care of an Aunt, who has now passed away, do some Volunteering. Now looking for a job after 5 months of looking, nothing, I'm going to have a Birthday on Friday and feel that I don't fit in the world we live in. I've been on interview after interview, and have been to 5 different agencies to help me find a job and nothing. This world is so cruel. I'm so frustrated of trying to find something and nothing. How does one servive? I have my husband who is going to apply for ss, but that is not enough for us to live on. i ask for your guidance if you have any?
Jesus! Literally call on Him - Lord of Lords and King of Kings. He created the universe and can help us in our lowest times and at least we'll be sure He's there and looking on. He doesn't always do EVERYTHING according to out "order" but the psalm says he supplies. ALL our needs when we call upon Him. I understand how hard utmost to go through an unfair situation though as I've had my share.. Last job was similar to your story in my case I was a truck driver. They didn't't train me properly but held me responsible. Hope some of this helps.

If you need to maybe more training in something you like doing. I am also looking , I get hung up on because of my age. I can run circles around some.
Marcia, dont give up. God is in control and when the tome is right He WILL Bless you. Check AARP for positions. Keep the faith.
No one promised you a rose garden. Of course the world is cruel. Your landlord has to give you 90 days to move after being given an eviction notice. Not sure why you were volunteering instead of looking for a job at that time, though.
Give it up to your higher power, get the stress off your shoulders. Whoever your higher power is, it will provide for you when you least expect it. Just don’t give up! Go do something that makes you happy, just to temporarily get your mind off it. You will succeed!
