Does anyone know how much time the average jobseeker spends looking for jobs online?
I'm averaging about 5 hours per day searching and applying for jobs. Feels like I'm earning a masters degree in application submission & online assessments!!

Probably 5-6 hours a day. It's like a full time job.

I spend 6-7 hours looking but usually only find 2-3 jobs, I can actually apply for that fit my skill set per day, if that.
I have job sites send me jobs that are supposedly matching my skill set,but when I look at them, they really have nothing to do with me, like Nursing. I am not a Nurse, I have never been a nurse, but I keep getting all of these Nursing or other medical jobs sent to me. I have checked my preferences on all sites, and they are exactly what they should be, but to no avail. I have another site that insists I'm in Hammond Indiana when I'm actually in Illinois. (cough, cough this site)
I am registered with several agencies too. I've gotten good responses from Select Staffing. If you're not already registered with them, check them out. Also your local unemployment office should have jobs listed on line.
I know it's frustrating but please don't give up.

Very long
2-3 hours a day is good enough for me.
