I GIVE UP!!!
I'm giving up on looking for a job, I've been looking for over two years and now I'll just have to face the consequences of losing my home, it's going to be really hard, but I can't expect the mortgage company to give me my house and I don't have the money for the payment. The 'funny' thing is I only had two more years on the mortgage.
In my case, i was out of work for about 8 or 9 years, I was working self employed, so to go back to the work force was nearly impossible, because of that reason, because otherwise I wouldn't, I ask a friend for some help, so i used her as reference to be able to get into the company, I'm not making a lot of hours, because I wanted it that way for now, I'd recommend you to do the same, when nothing works and one is stuck, a little push helps.
I wish you luck..i hope there are some jobs out there. I'm looking myself....good luck..

Please MAKE BIG effort to save your home is almost paid for. Rents are high and it's not easy to live in rentals. Fight earnestly for your HOME.
