Re: healthcare scammer
Yes, I had an on-line interview with CURA Healthcare for administrative assistance. They're from India and work globally setting up offices in the U.S. Interview went ok until he said I was hired right away on-line (hint), and will pay me $25.00 an hour (another hint). But the biggest hint of all was asking me for my bank checking account. I asked him if I could give this to him at a later time and he immediately cut off the conversation. That was the rudest, most awful on-line etiquette. So beware of this company and anyone who asks you for your bank checking account on-line is no good!

Glad you recognized this scam and didn't fall for it! Thanks for alerting others!

I think it's okay to name the company because it shows people what names scammers are currently using. Also it's never a bad idea to scan your computer for viruses, even periodically. Better safe than sorry, for sure!

Wow Laura, I am SO glad to hear you didn't fall for it! You're spot-on with those red flags. It was most certainly a scam and you would've been out a lot of money if you hadn't sniffed out that they were trying to scam you!
A real company will always allow you time to think things over, you should never ever have to give your bank account information at the end of an interview (EVEN IF YOU ARE HIRED) and you should never have to give your bank account information anyway!
You've clearly got a good head on your shoulders, please let me know if you have any questions about job scams!
I just experienced the same with this same person, although I did not give him my banking info, he was willing to wait till I was hired to receive it, I still have not given it to them and never will.
