Is it common practice for an employer to fire someone via email. Has this world gone mad that no one can face the person they are letting go? It was so cold. I will hold my head high and clinge to my integrity and my ethics.

I heard that now employers often send a notice of dismissal by email

I am so sorry Keri! Yes, it is very cold and very unprofessional. No doubt you will 'land well in a new opportunity where you will be valued and appreciated.

Sounds like their loss Keri. I picture you with your head held high and it makes me smile. Hang in there!

Keri I am so sorry. You are right to take the high road, a company that would end a relationship with you that way probably doesn’t deserve to have you as a team member. But that doesn’t change the fact that it feels really awful...! Hang in there and hope you find the Jobcase community helpful as you find your next step (don’t forget to check out our job search link above, etc.).
Not too long ago I started working in email marketing and I want to tell you that mass email marketing is very convenient. Perhaps this is why employers are increasingly using this service if they need to fire several employees. True, for the successful delivery of the mailing you need to use the Email List Cleaning Service https://proofy.io/email-list-cleaning/ Clearing your email list means you only send emails to those who need them and reduces the number of spam complaints.
