The article states the process well and realistically but if you are a job seeker if you do not play the game by the rules of the hiring industry, you will not get the job. Standards tightened for sure after 2008, but it is the law of supply and demand. The point should be to know these are the rules and learn to play within these parameters not sit on the bench complaining or waiting for the market to change.
