No jobs in Georgia!

I moved back to my home state last April... I've had a ton of interviews, only to have my time and effort wasted! I did get hired by a large retailer, that pays enough for me to live in my car!... I was hired the other day as a temp in a factory... let's not try to jnix that.

CAREER ADMINISTRATIVE PROFESSIONAL!

I'm afraid I've been having the same problem. After over five (5) years, I lost my position with the Fulton County Board of Health. The position was eliminated last December due to a funding shift in the program in which I was employed. I've had some brief temporary positions since then, but that's not what I want. I want a new permanent full-time position which can last me the rest of my working life. I have the skill, experience, learning ability, and personal maturity to get the job done right, which many younger applicants may not have. I need to be able to pull my share of the weight in this household and not have to saddle my wife with the burden. It's very frustrating!

METAPHYSICIAN / Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist

Ray,

I know you just got back and things don't seem very positive in regards to finding gainful employment. However, don't give into false preceptions; I am a native New Yorker, and have resided in the State of Georgia for over 30 years. Now don't get me wrong I am ready to leave but it is not because of lack of job opportunities. Contact me on Jobcase message and I promise I'll send you more job leads than you couldn't possibly apply to all in one year!

Economists have been warning us for years that the US is turning into a service economy which does not pay very well.. After 50 years of struggle, your Govt. will tell you that you did not save enough for retirement !

I'm sorry to hear that, Ray! I hope you are able to stick around and not jinx your new job!

If you want to start looking for something else, you can search right here on Jobcase. Simply follow these steps to get started:

1. Click on Jobs & Companies at the top of the page, or head over [here] (http://www.jobcase.com/jobs/search)

2. Enter a job into the search field where it says Job Title, Keywords, or Company.

3. Add in your location by filling in your City and State OR zip code. Then click the magnifying glass to search.

4. Once the list is up, click on “View Job" of any you are interested in and then apply.

Good luck with your job search!
