Why didn't you thank them?

Have you ever noticed the way someone’s eyes light up or their disposition changes when you thank them? It seems so simple, but with those two words they suddenly feel appreciated, praised, and cared about.

Saying “thank you” is so incredibly powerful and sadly not said enough!

**-**You could thank your spouse for supporting you during your job search.

**-**You could thank your children for that hug they gave you this morning.

**-**You could thank the cashier for taking those extra 5 seconds to ensure your purchase was wrapped carefully to make it home in one piece.

Sometimes in life, we come to expect things either because they happen pretty commonly OR we just forget how special they truly are. Don’t! Appreciate every single thing that is good in your life and don’t forget to say thank you to those that helped make it happen.

I thanked my work family just the other day for a wonderful card they gave me that changed my whole day.

It’s truly the little things that matter the most : )

So, who is the last person you thanked?

Why did you thank them?

Thank you is an incredible two words that when you look someone in the eyes and say Thank you with meaning, the ease in their face just warms me up inside!!! No matter rich, poor, etc. I treat all with respect and dignity!! We all have the same God given feelings that money cannot buy!!! It is what it is!! Compassion!!! The most beautiful feeling I know!! Take care and love you all!!!!

Thank you all and thank God most. My blessings are abundant and my future holds so much potential my hope has grown during the last 12 months. Truly grateful for all help and effort given to me by those in my life. It will be played forward in any way I can give back.

I thank everyone. It’s called good manners and are not taught by many parents these days. For often than not, they teach their children that everything is all about them and everyone around them are to be treated like their servants. They are “The Safespace generation because Mommy and Daddy have told them they are special and deserve everything without putting in the effort.
