Want to change Industries
I have worked in the Warehouse industry for 12 years. I desperately want to move into a management position within another industry. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in business administration/ human resources, I would like to use my work experience along with current level of education ( associates degree), any suggestions on how I can get my foot in the door?

Hello Sylvia, Going for your Master's Degree is Fantastic and that degree plus your previous and current work experience is going to open some doors for you. Transitioning into another industry might be where you run into some challenges but fortunately the warehouse industry is diverse enough that you'll be able to transfer over most of the skills you've acquired on the job. If you looking for technical support careers then make sure you're up to date or certified in whatever language or software you would like to support. Look for opportunities where you are now. Is there a management or tech support job at your current company you can apply for? Companies prefer to hire from within especially if you have a good track record as an employee.
