I don’t get this
Why does it seem like employers promote people to managerial positions who are absolutely terrible at it? I’ve been reading so many posts about bad managers that it amazes me. Years of experience doesn’t always mean you have the ability to manage people!!

I think sometimes they can let the power get to their heads. Or they end up with more responsibility than they thought they would have and are taking their stress out on other people.

Mystery to me too. Some people get promoted because they're good at what they do but not skilled at managing people which if an extremely hard skill to master in itself.
