Martin Luther King Jr. Day: A day of reflection + honor
I'm always amazed by the enduring power and inspiration that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s words had on those around him. His legacy of strength is the epitome of civic responsibility and engagement. As we approach MLK Day, I wanted to take some time to reflect...
Here is one of my favorite quotes. I believe that this applies to many parts of our lives. We may have some bumps in the road that feel like failures, but we must never give up! Disappointment is not forever.
There are so many beautiful ways to honor his memory, how are you marking the holiday?

Dr King was an inspiration for all, though many seem to refuse to accept it. I didn't think that belittling others was the point of this group. I should probably get out of it.

What!?

Sorry I cant be happy or celebratory about this day. Its made it so my mail is late, which means I have to go without pay for another week.

Thailand does not consider this a holiday. I have my quote. My saying. Best person I ever worked for was a women. Sue Glick. GS 15 Deputy Commander Support Operations 21st Support Command Kaiserslautern Germany. Worst boss was a women. I will not give you her name. She banged her way to the top. My best friend is a black man. Captain Ron Stokes (R). Vietnam vet. Pilot former Warrant Officer. My worst enemy's are black people and the stupid Priests and Boy Scout Bosses.

Martin Luther King Jr also said I have a Dream.

Powerful message! And yes never give up, always be willing to accept change, it does tend to happen for the best!
