Background checks
What if employees could do background checks on the person hiring them? What would we find. Probably not as good as you might think. So why condem a person from getting a job because of their background, when the the person that is hiring you has a shady background ad well?

When you have your own company, you can change the policy. Companies tend to use background checks so that they can measure a person's decision making or thought process skills. People don't want to be associated with criminals, so they try to weed them out before hiring a problem child. The people that normally don't like background checks, are the people that can't pass a background check. The person requesting the background check may have had issues, but they have found a way to move up in the company somehow. Background checks, and drug testing is something that won't go away for a long time, and many business insurance carriers are requiring businesses do the checks and testing. Good Luck...
