Nerissa is not settle, sometimes it is eeasier said than done, its what available at times when you are in need, you have to start somewhere to take you where you want to go,some people have to take bus to train to train ,to reach home, some just take the bus,or the train,,easy for you, hard for some one else, keep focus we all will get there.

Hi I have been doing CNA,HHA for over twenty or more years , I ve worked va nursing homes ,private care dealing with patients who have demitca ,hospice, hiv, cancer I have also worked different agencies they still want to pay low wages. I am really shocked at the pay and the lack of benefits. But I don’t let that stop me.cause I really love what I do.

Good advice when the pressure isn't on. Desperation breeds irrational decisions and that is what you are warning against. There is a lot more wisdom behind your post than meets the eye. God bless.

At this time it's not a matter of settling. Its about keeping a roof over my head and having food to eat. With unemployment running out I'd accept a part time job even if I have to have three part time jobs. You do what you have to do to survive.
