If you are enrolled in a college already, volunteer to work there every after school. But that's if the college will allow you. My baby sister did when she was your age and now making it a career.

Hi Andrea, Bezt of luck in your job search. Ic you have a career field of interest have you looked to see if there are entry level positions in the field? That may help you gain some insight as well as experience that will benefit you later.
For example, if you want to be a Registered Nurse, you could work in a hospital as a patient transporter, or file clerk. If you can find a class in Nursing Assistant , become certified and that is great learning that helps in many areas.
I like your idea of babysitting, but for sure, prepare yourzelf with a locally offered class on basic life support, that train you on child and infant emergencies.
I admire your desire to be employed, and wish you the best in your job search.
2nd response...if u r creative invent something for pets or kids and/or make it draw something ur mom can get others to buy. lastly start a nonprofit to help kids, teens or elderly people.
also look at what u would have always want to do. babysitting is just a start?
