I looked for daycare/childcare jobs in Pekin, IL and I couldn't find any listed. That's not to say that people don't need childcare services. To reach a more local/targeted audience there area few things you can do.

1. Register with www.care.com as a childcare provider. Create a profile and people within your area can find you should they need your services.

2. Check to see if your neigjhborhood has a presence on www.nextdoor.com. Nextdoor is a community social networking site where you can interact directly with your neighbors in your neighborhood and other nearby neighborhoods. Create a profile there, answer some questions, and Nextdoor will place you in your respective neighborhood. There you can create a post advertising you services as a babysitter.
